School Introduction

Toronto Mandarin School is the leading language school located in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada, dedicated to teaching Mandarin Chinese and offering a wide variety of Mandarin language programs for children, adults, businesses and organizations.

Toronto Mandarin School was founded in 2001 by a group of teaching professionals from Mainland China, who are passionate in promoting the Chinese language and culture to the western world. The programs were designed to teach Putonghua (Standard Mandarin), modern Chinese phonetic system (Hanyu pinyin), and simplified Chinese characters using the official language system of Mainland China. Starting with only 23 students, Toronto Mandarin School has grown today into a multi-location operation, providing the most practical Mandarin learning experience for children, adults and organizations in the GTA. We currently offer:

  • Programs for children: Weekend Mandarin classes, After-school Mandarin, Mandarin / English Bilingual Preschool, Early Years Learning in Mandarin, Parent & Tot, Mandarin Immersion Summer Day Camp/March Break Camp, Mandarin for Teens
  • Programs for adults: Conversational Mandarin classes, Business Mandarin classes, Intensive Mandarin classes, Mandarin Immersion program, Chinese Culture Introduction
  • Programs for business and organizations: Our corporate training division, Mandarin Training SolutionsTM, offers the most effective Mandarin language and intercultural communication training and workshops to executives and professionals
  • Private/small group lessons: One-one-one Mandarin lessons or small group Mandarin lessons to meet our clients’ special needs
  • Affiliated Programs: We work with private schools, daycare centres and organizations, providing on-site customized Mandarin programs; available for integrated Mandarin, after-school Mandarin, camp programs.

Mission
Toronto Mandarin School’s aim is to promote the Chinese language and culture and to encourage a multicultural understanding in a global society, by offering the most effective programs to ANYONE who is interested in learning our language and culture.
